For the 10th time since the unrest in Iran started, the judiciary has sentenced a protester to death. Opposition websites report that an appeals court in Tehran confirmed the death verdict against a 20-year-old man. The young man had participated in a demonstration in December. The judges accused him of agitation against the Iranian leadership and Islam.
The demonstrations had started after the disputed re-election of President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. Two supporters of monarchist groups were already hanged.
